Someone got a serious deal!
Steven Spielberg just sold his beachfront Malibu home for $26 million, but it was rumored to be going for a whopping $35 million, so he really budged on the sale price. The buyer is reportedly real estate big wig Steve Gozini, Variety reports.
The director and his wife Kate Capshaw had been renting it out prior to unloading it for between $125-$150k a month! They should have just held onto the pad as an investment property!
The 7,237 square-foot Craftsman-style abode boasts 7 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms, as well as a detached 2 bedroom guest house. There is a wrap around courtyard with an indoor pool and attached spa. The master suite has a private library and a massage room that overlooks the ocean.
The Hollywood legend's pad also has a movie theater, obviously!
The various balconies and patios give way to stunning ocean views, but there is very little sand space left due to the massive erosion problem on Broad Beach, where the residence is located.
Other celebs that have called the area home include Pierce Brosnan, Dustin Hoffman, Goldie Hawn, and Danny Levito, just to name a few.
The couple's main residence is a 5 acre hillside compound in the Pacific Palisades.

Yuck! The Valley!
Avril Lavigne and husband Chad Kroeger just bought this massive home in Sherman Oaks for a whopping $5.4 million.
The French-style estate has 7,888-square-foot and sits on a half acre of land. It boasts 6 bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms, as well as a basketball court, gym, and an outdoor kitchen. It also has vaulted ceilings, hand-carved fireplaces, four Juliet balconies, a dramatic bridal staircase, an ivy-covered outdoor terrace and an over-sized swimming pool, according to Variety.
The couple have lived in Canada since tying the knot in July 2013. The pair was plagued by breakup rumors this past year, but in actuality, the "Sk8ter Boi" singer was secretly battling Lyme's disease this whole time.
We would have bought in a different area, but this is still a pretty rad pad!

Maybe they are planning to start a family and need a bigger space?
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen just listed their Manhattan loft for $4.5 million, and it's quite the chic pad! The duo purchased the 1,969 square-foot abode, located in Little Italy, for $2.55 million in August 2012.
The property only has one bedroom and two bathrooms, but it has a large combined living and dining space. The pair extensively renovated the interiors before showing off the end result in Architectural Digest.
The lovebirds are the first to acknowledge that most homebuyers are looking for natural light, but that they prefer a darker and more moody atmosphere! "We tend to look for the opposite of what most people want," the R&B singer explained to the mag. The Sports Illustrated model added that she loved the exposed brick walls, and insisted she'd "rather have a wall than a view of the Empire State Building."
Interior designer Don Stewart, who also designed their L.A. property, was in charge of the decor. "This apartment just embodies everything that I love. I love dark and rustic, but it's still very clean and very chic. It feels like our place in LA, but in New York," the cat walker gushed.
We will be on the lookout for a baby announcement now that we know they're on the market for a bigger home base!

Gigi Hadid has listed her New York City apartment for $2.45 million after a stalker was able to break in to the place last month.
Marcell Porter was arrested on June 29 for making several attempts to get in to the SoHo residence, and police confirmed that he was successful in getting past security and getting in to Gigi's home on at least one occasion. According to police documents, Porter also posted creepy messages about his obsession with Gigi on Facebook, and he was later charged with one count of 4th degree stalking.
But back to the digs! The home is only 935 square feet, but with two bedrooms and two bathrooms and all sorts of upgrades like wide-plank white oak floors and Carrara marble counters, it's a pretty sweet spot! The master suite boasts a walk-in closet and a soaking tub, and though Gigi doesn't have her own private balcony, the 8-floor building does have a gorgeous roof deck.
Gigi bought the home last year for $1.92 million via a trust in the name of her mother, Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster. Not only will she have an extra chunk of change if she gets the full asking price, but she's really blown up over the last year, so it seems like she could pick up an even nicer place!

Scott Disick closed on this gorgeous $3.7 million home in a secluded neighborhood of Beverly Hills last December, and the 4,095-square-foot bachelor pad will now be his main residence following his split from Kourtney Kardashian!
The father-of-three got dumped by his longtime partner earlier this week after photos surfaced of him getting cozy with his ex Chloe Bartoli in Monte Carlo recently, so he's lucky he made this purchase before the s**t hit the fan, or else he'd be homeless!
Built in 1960 and designed by the Stewart-Gulrajani Design Team, the estate has undergone almost a complete renovation supervised by The Lord himself. The modern property boasts beautiful canyon views, a giant swimming pool, a gourmet kitchen, and floor-to-ceiling windows.
The drawback? Shuttling his three kids back and forth to their mom's place in Calabasas is going to a traffic nightmare!
