Making real estate history!

Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas listed their former marital home, located in the Hancock Park area of L.A., for $16.1 million this past April, and they just sold it for $15.9 million. The transaction breaks the previous $11 million record for the highest price paid for a single family home in the area. The couple purchased the pad back in 1999 for a mere $4.2 million.

The 15,000 square-foot estate boasts 7 bedrooms and 7 full bathrooms with 3 half baths, and was designed by legendary architect Gordon B. Kauffman. The Italian Revival-style abode has a two story banquet hall, hand stenciled and box beamed ceilings, and other features that resemble an old church. There is also a fitness center and a recording studio.

The pair purchased the house next door in 2000 for $1.3 million in order to expand their property, and promptly tore it down to build vast lawns and gardens, as well as a pool. The whole lot is now over an acre and a half.

Take A Peek Inside Caitlyn Jenner's Gorgeous Malibu Retreat

caitlyn-jenner-malibu-main.jpg

We already knew Caitlyn Jenner had a sweet Malibu pad, but we hadn't gotten a peek inside the place -- until now!

Caitlyn dropped $3.5 million on the 3,500-square-foot home when she was still going by the name Bruce, and other than moving her stuff in, it looks like she didn't need to do much to the pad! The home has four bedrooms and four bathrooms, and with 11 acres of land, it looks like she'll have plenty of space to do whatever she wants.

In addition to heated floors and a handful of fireplaces, there’s a covered patio, a sparkling pool and spa and a downstairs area that could converted to a gym or guest quarters. There are 360 degree ocean, mountain and canyon views, and listing info notes that "the location and quality of this home are simply unparalleled." We'd have to agree!

Phil Collins has purchased Jennifer Lopez's former Miami beach estate for $33 million.

J. Lo hasn't lived in the place since she sold it to Mark and Elyse Gainor for $13.9 million in 2005, but after three years $11 million of renovations, it sounds like the pad is more palatial than ever!

The 12,153-square-foot home has 7 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms and it sits on a 1.2 acre lot. Collins was drawn to the pad because "he was really looking for a big piece of land," according to The Wall Street Journal. In addition to a gorgeous swimming pool, there's a koi fish pond, an outdoor kitchen and a boat dock, and inside the home boasts 150-year-old reclaimed hardwood flooring and a wine cellar.

The home was listed for $29 million in 2010, $42.5 million in 2011 and $34.5 million in 2012. Hope Mr. Collins is happy with his purchase!

Well that was quick!

Only four months after Beck purchased this 1920s home in Santa Monica for $2.711 million, he's turning around and listing it for $2.795 million.

Variety first reported the acquisition of the property, and revealed that it was marketed as an "opportunity to remodel or rebuild" when the Grammy winner picked it up. There is some old world charm to the abode, though! There are built-in bookshelves, fireplaces, and exposed beamed ceilings.

The musician and his wife Marissa Ribisi still own the Los Feliz home they purchased last year, so it's not like they're gonna be homeless!
