Patrick Dempsey Buys $1.9 Million Venice Beach Micro-Compound

McDreamy's new digs are just… dreamy!

Patrick Dempsey and his wife Jillian just purchased this $1.9 million contemporary micro-compound in Venice Beach via a blind trust.

The 1950's bungalow was renovated in the mid-2000's and features a one bedroom apartment attached to a separate office suite with private entrance. The architects also added a three story second residence, which is attached over the gated two-car carport.

The second residence's living/dining/kitchen space is open and constructed almost entirely of glass, as to add to an indoor-outdoor feel. The second floor bedroom leads out onto a balcony, and the master suite bedroom boasts a 300 square-foot terrace.

This must just be their weekend pad, because the couple's main home is a Frank Gehry-designed property above Malibu's Zuma beach.

Red Hot Chili Peppers Bassist Flea Buys $2.65 Million Los Feliz Home

flea-house-main.jpg

He may be one of the most famous bassists in the world, and now it seems like he's almost in the same league as serial home buyer Ellen DeGeneres when it comes to his real estate portfolio!

Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea (nee Michael Balzary) has just dropped $2.65 million for a traditional home in Los Feliz, and while it doesn't look to be his primary residence, it's still a pretty nice pad.

The 3,561-square-foot home sits on a .26-acre lot, and it has four bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. It looks like it's been recently upgraded (at least the kitchens and bathrooms), so we're curious to see how much Flea tinkers with the interior before he puts it back on the market.

When you walk in there's a double foyer with magnesite floors, and the rest of the home has hardwood and tile. There's a fireplace in both the family and living rooms, and the second floor features a master bedroom with a walk-in closet, along with an office and a sizable exterior terrace. Outside there's a covered patio with a built-in barbeque, and from the lush and private yard to the long pool, this home has just about everything you could want.

Flea currently owns a two-acre Malibu estate, which he bought in 2006 for $9.98 million, but he's made a number of pretty lucrative deals over the years. In September he sold a Los Feliz home for $6 million and swung a $1.5 million profit, and in 2011 he sold another home in the same area to Jack Black for just under $6 million, making over $2 million on that transaction.

Who know the rocker had such a talent for flipping homes?

Roger Federer Buys Gorgeous $10 Million Home In Switzerland

federer-home-700.jpg

Roger Federer is one of the best tennis tennis players in the world (and he holds the record for most career prize money earned), so it's not surprising that he just dropped $10 million on a gorgeous new home in his native Switzerland.

The photo above (and the ones in the gallery below) are merely renderings, but according to reports construction at the Wollerau residence will be complete any day now and Federer and his family are expected to move in by the end of the year.

The three-story villa has nearly 5,400 square feet of living space, and though a few Swiss media outlets claim the pad will be split into two separate luxury chalets for Federer and his parents, the Daily Mail seems to think that Federer's parents will be living in a luxury apparently right next door. Either way, it's a stunning location -- and the modern design is equally attractive.

Fun fact: Wollerau is one of the lowest tax municipalities in Europe.

Justin Bieber Renting Beverly Hills Mansion For $60k A Month

bieber-home-main-700.jpg

Justin Bieber has moved in to a new mansion in Beverly Hills, and seeing as it's ultra-modern with plenty of space for his entourage, it's quite the party palace!

The mansion has 6 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms, and various listings put the square footage between 6,500 and 7,500 square feet. From the bar to the glass walls with sweeping city views, it's easy to see why Bieber is throwing out a whopping $59,000 a MONTH on this rental.

The home also has a 7-car garage and a gorgeous infinity pool, and it was last sold for over $10 million. The Ed Niles-designed home has been dubbed "The Beverly Hills Glass House", and though it's not currently on the market, we have a feeling if the Biebs truly loves this place, it wouldn't be hard for him to splash out the money and buy it...

The home sits on a half-acre lot, and while his new neighbors will probably still be able to hear his wild parties, at least they're not right next door to him. As you may recall, the tenants in Bieber's luxury Beverly Hills condo building (you know, the one he just moved out of) were ready to rip their hair out over his all-night ragers.

Bieber previously owned a large estate in a gated community in Calabasas, which he sold earlier this year to Khloe Kardashian for $7.2 million. From late-night eggings to complaints of reckless driving, he caused a lot of chaos in that neighborhood as well. And we don't even want to know what he's capable of doing to the interior of a house like this...
