Moby Sells Historic Wolf's Lair Estate For $12.4 Million

Moby has sold his Beachwood Canyon estate, known as Wolf's Lair, in an off-market deal for $12.4 million, according to Variety's Dirt.

The musician bought the home in March 2010 for $3.925 million, and though he spent an estimated $2 million in renovations, he still ended up making more than twice what he put into it.

The mansion was built in the late 1920s for developer L. Milton Wolf, and rumor has it the Rolling Stones lived there for a while. The pics in this post were taken before Moby gave the place a facelift, and while it's not known what the exact square footage is, the home was last listed as having 8 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms.

The 3.3-acre property includes a stone main house with turrets, and there are two guest houses on the property -- one sits by the pool and the other one was designed by famed architect John Lautner. The original owner had a secret tiki bar under the gate house and The New York Times reported in 2011 Moby planned to turn the lounge into an invitation-only magic theater.

Moby is no stranger to flipping homes, and in the last year alone he's made a number of moves on the real estate market. In June 2013 his Hollywood Hills pad for $2.85 million and suffered a $100,000 loss on the place but in May he unloaded his New York penthouse for $2.05 million, which was $100k more than the asking price. Wonder what he's going to scoop up next?

Glee Co-Creator Brad Falchuk Buys $3.84 Million Malibu Home

Glee EP/writer Brad Falchuk (who is more famous these days for being Gwyneth Paltrow's post-divorce rebound) has picked up this Malibu spread for $3.84 million, and it's not mind-blowingly awesome, but it has a lot of potential! I mean, it's pretty hard to compete with the $14 million mansion Gwyn's ex-husband Chris Martin picked up earlier this year, but it'll have to do...

The 2,820-square-foot home sits on Las Tunas Beach, and it has four bedrooms, three full bathrooms and two half bathrooms. The pad has epoxy flooring, tons of windows and several balconies, and while the layout is fantastic, we personally think the interior needs a major makeover. Case in point, the kelly green backsplash in the kitchen. Yuck!

Rob Pattinson Checks Out $3.4 Million Brooklyn Townhome

In January Rob Pattinson unloaded his Los Feliz compound for $6.375 million, and after renting a Beverly Hills mansion for most of the year, he finally dropped $2.17 million on a modest Spanish-style home in the Hollywood Hills last month. We thought it was odd that the Twilight star was downsizing from his 4,000-square-foot pad to one with just two bedrooms and two bathrooms, but it appears as though the actor is looking for a residence on the east coast too. Now it all makes a bit more sense!

According to The New York Post, Pattinson recently checked out this $3.4 million townhouse in Brooklyn's Vinegar Hill neighborhood, which was extensively renovated by the current owner. The 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom duplex has a 2-3 car garage that is currently being used as a guest apartment, and though it was built in 1925, the upgrades seem well worth the price tag. The chef’s kitchen has stainless steel Wolf and Subzero appliances, and the master bath has heated flooring and a large walk-in shower.

The home has a milled steel and oak staircase, exposed brick, wide plank oak floors, skylights and there's even a large private roof terrace with city views. If Rob does end up purchasing this pad, you can bet he'll be getting a lot of visits from lady love FKA Twigs!

Now that they're grown up there's no need to be all under one roof!

The Jonas Brothers bought this Texas mansion back in 2008 to be a home for their entire family, but after branching out on their own in recent years, they decided to list it for $3.4 million before dropping the price by $200K earlier this month in hopes of finding a buyer.

Located in Westlake, the two story ranch-style abode boasts 6 bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms, as well as a formal living room, gourmet kitchen, media room, game room, and music room.

The property is part of the Vaquero Club community, which offers private tennis courts, pools, a clubhouse, and a golf course for $4700 a year in addition to the price of the residence.

Paris Hilton Picks Up Stunning $4.9 Million New York City Penthouse

It's a PH for PH!

Paris Hilton dropped $4.9 million on an ultra-modern penthouse in New York City, and from the city views to the gorgeous interiors, this pad looks absolutely perfect for the heiress. Of course, all of the images above are artist renderings (that just blew our minds), but we have a feeling this is exactly how Hilton would want the place to look.

The apartment has 2,396 square feet of interior space and 905 square feet of deck space, and though it was originally listed for $6.25 million, the price later dropped to $5.25 million, so it looks like Miss P was able to get quite the deal.

The Broadway McKenna Building was built as a warehouse in 1867, but after a remodel job by Karl Fischer and Andres Escobar, the structure has been completely transformed. According to the building's website, this unit is a "rare and impressive full floor loft condominium," and the elevator opens directly into the entrance foyer of the home. Inside there are oversized windows, skylights, wide-plank Brazilian Cherry hardwood floors, a modern fireplace surrounded by white calcatta marble and recessed LED lighting fixtures in the ceilings.

Between this and her Beverly Hills mansion, it looks like P has the best real estate on both coasts!
