Heath Ledger's Dad Puts Late Actor's Australia Home On The Market For $4.6 Million

Heath Ledger's father Kim helped design a stunning home for his son in Perth, Australia, but sadly the actor passed away before he could move in and enjoy the residence. And now, over 6 years after Ledger's tragic death, his dad has finally decided to sell it.

Ledger told The Daily Telegraph last week, "[Heath] was very interested in the design. We talked about this house a lot. We thought it would be a great place for him to stay when he was in town." The home was still under construction at the time of the star's death in early 2008. Heath and former partner Michelle Williams lived in a small home off of Laurel Canyon, which was sold in seven months after he passed away and was more recently purchased by Hunger Games star Josh Hutcherson.

Anyway, according to Vitale Fine Properties, the home down under was designed to have "a natural flow between mood-enhancing spaces," and from the open floor plan to the simple and modular furnishings, it's truly a modern marvel.

The residence, which has approximately 8,500 square feet of living space on two levels, has six bedrooms, five bathrooms and three balconies and an oversize kitchen. There's a downstairs living room which integrates seamlessly with an outdoor entertaining space, and adjacent to that there is a study with tropical garden view. There is a stunning pool and a four-car garage -- click the gallery below to see more!

The new buyer got a bargain!

Rachel Griffiths just sold her Palm Beach, Florida, home for more than $2.2 million. The Six Feet Under star had it listed for $2.5 million just ten days ago, so she parted with over $300K by accepting the offer.

The sandstone cottage was apparently "one of the quickest sales in the suburb in a long time", the realty company revealed. The cosy abode features timber floors, fireplaces, large windows, and ocean views from every room. The property is located directly on the water, so there is beachfront access.

The actress and her family moved back to her native Australia two years ago, so she probably figured she wouldn't be spending very much time here anyway!

kesha-house-main-082714.jpg

Kesha recently plunked down $1.65 million on a house in Venice, and from the girly interior to the colorful patio area in the back, this pad is SO her!

The Spanish-style bungalow was built in 1926, and though it has about 1,400 square feet of living space and no pool, it's quite charming. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, arched entryways and a breakfast nook and outside there is a lounge area with a fireplace and a hot tub.

Of course, the main selling point for K Money must have been the fact that the detached one-car garage has been converted into an artist studio. We're not sure if she'll be making beautiful music or painting up a storm in there, but it will definitely get used!

The funnyman's got a new family pad!

Vince Vaughn just purchased Kate Bosworth's L.A. home for $2.37 million. The petite actress listed her crib this past April for $2.49 million, so it was a relatively quick sale. The blonde beauty purchased the place back in 2005 for $2.1 million, so even though she settled for lower than the asking price, she still made a decent profit off the transaction.

Built in 1955, the 2,890 square-foot abode boasts 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, as well as an open floor plan. The estate sits on over half an acre of property, and the grounds are perfect for entertaining with an indoor-outdoor living room and pool.

The actor has quite the impressive real estate portfolio! He also owns a $1.42 million Chicago penthouse, a $3.9 million property in La Canada Flintridge, and a $6.4 million mini-mansion in Manhattan Beach.
