Poppy Montgomery Lists Dreamy Brentwood Home Just One Year After Buying It

Poppy Montgomery has listed her Brentwood pad for $3.695 million, and while we're in love with it, apparently she wasn't, seeing as she bought it just one year ago for $3.6 million. Er, either that or she's worried about finances after her latest TV show got cancelled!

The 3,089-square-foot Spanish-style hacienda has 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, and there is a den, a library, an office and according to listing info, the kitchen is "an entertainer's dream with state of the art appliances and a large center island." The family room features vaulted beamed ceilings and a large fireplace, and the upstairs master is like a "soothing romantic retreat with a fireplace, tree top views and a spa-like bath."

Outside the home boasts "mesmerizing views of the private vineyard and hills beyond," and there is a sparkling pool and a terrace overlooking the backyard.

Poppy has been on a number of TV programs so we're sure she'll find another gig, but the Aussie actress hasn't had the best luck with real estate. In April 2012 she sold her Pacific Palisades for $2.88 million, which was a $250,000 loss ... yikes!

Peek Inside Mel Gibson's $30 Million Costa Rican Villa

It's weird he hasn't found a buyer for this place, because it's awesome!

Mel Gibson listed his Costa Rican estate, which comes with its own 500 acre private jungle, for $29.7 million last year, but nobody has made an offer on the property yet!

The Spanish Colonial-style home, comprised of three villas, is located on Playa Barrigona, which is so secluded that it's the perfect place for a celebrity to go for some undisturbed vacation time.

"Rarely marked on maps, Playa Barrigona is such a haven of solitude and serenity that Olive Ridley sea turtles travel thousands of miles across the Pacific each year to lay their eggs on this beach," reads the listing.

If only we had more money in the bank!

Mark Zuckerberg Drops $115 Million On 750 Acres Of Land In Kauai

And this news broke the same day it was revealed that the Facebook founder donated a whopping $25 million to the Centers for Disease Control to help combat the deadly Ebola outbreak. But remember, the Zuck is worth an estimated $33.3 billion, so this is all just a drop in the bucket!

Anyway, the rumors are apparently true: Mark Zuckerberg has purchased 750 acres of land on Kauai's north shore, and it cost him a little over $115 million. Two properties are included in the parcel -- the first is the 357-acre Kahu’aina Plantation, which includes 2,500 feet of white sand beach, and the second is Pila'a Beach, a 393-acre isolated oceanfront property adjacent to the plantation.

The plantation, which has a working organic farm, set Zuckerberg back $66 mil, while Pila'a cost $49.8 million. Technically, the tech billionaire has an 89.2% stake in the second property, so he doesn't own it outright, but given how private he is, we can't imagine he'd buy it unless it came with certain guarantees.

The plantation has approval for 80 houses, but of course, Zuckerberg only plans to build one. Maybe a guest home too? I mean, he's got enough space...

Celine Dion Reduces Asking Price On Montreal Mansion By $6 Million

Her heart will go on, and so will her determination to unload this real estate!

Celine Dion listed her 24,000-square-foot Montreal estate for $28 million in 2012, but after failing to find a buyer, she has slashed the asking price to $22 million.

The six bedroom, six bathroom home is located on a private island, which measures over 830,000 square feet, on the River Mille Iles. Dion and husband Rene Angelil moved into the pad in 2001, and promptly enlisted a team of 300 people to refurbish and expand it.

The place is accessed via a private gated bridge with security post, and according to listing info, "a helipad can be created to make access by air possible." The main floor features a formal living room and dining room and a custom la Cornue kitchen, and up the winding staircase on the second level there are several bedrooms. The third story houses a guest bedroom and a home gym, and on the lower level, there is a game room and a vaulted stone wine cellar with a tasting room.

Outside there are several stone terraces, a large in-ground pool and a pool house with its own kitchen and built-in grill. Click the gallery below for more photos!
