Country singer Colbie Caillat just dropped $6.1 million on this Hidden Hills mansion, and not only is the property itself massive, but it's a huuuuuge upgrade over her last pad.
Caillat sold her residence in Westlake Village home for $1.6 million earlier this month, and while she broke even on the sale of the place, it looks like money must not be an issue. She does pretty well on her own, but let's keep in mind that her father is record producer Ken Caillat, who engineered a number of Fleetwood Mac albums back in the day.
According to listing info, the 8,400-square-foot home sits on over one acre of land, and it has six bedrooms and eight bathrooms. The home opens up to a great room with a fireplace, and not only is the kitchen packed full of high end appliances, but the dining room includes a built-in side board with dual wine fridges and butlers pantry.
The master suite is on the first floor, and the second floor has several more guest suites, a bonus room with wet bar and a home theater. Outside there is a sparkling pool and spa that can be controlled via a smart phone, along with several patios, a putting green and an organic vegetable garden.

Being a DJ apparently makes you the big bucks!
Calvin Harris just purchased this massive Beverly Hills compound for $15 million, Variety reports. That's chump change for a man that reportedly earned a whopping $110 million between 2013 and 2014!
The 18,000 square-foot estate sits on 2.66 acres of property and boasts an impressive 10 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. There is also a single story guest house complete with a private pool and spa, as well as staff quarters with an elevator and three car garage, and a two story second guest house with stunning views. The interior is comprised of mostly dark wood and white marble, lending to the crisp vibe of the home.
The Scottish electro master has been making more than a few real estate transactions lately. In 2012, he bought a $5.5 million Brentwood home, only to turn around a year later and sell it at a loss for $4.9 million. Additionally, he purchased a $7 million pad above the Sunset Strip just last year. It certainly pays to be his broker!

Paula Patton may not have officially divorced estranged husband Robin Thicke, but with the purchase of this $2 million cabin-inspired Calabasas home, she's making a pretty permanent move!
The 4,078-square-foot home has five bedrooms and four full bathrooms, and it sits on a one-acre lot with a sparkling pool and lots of trees. The home was built in 1968, and it has a number of original features, including stained glass windows, cedar paneling, cast-iron chandeliers, and several large rock-wall fireplaces.
In July Patton and Thicke listed their former Hollywood Hills home for $2.985 million, but it went off the market shortly thereafter. Seeing as Robin's father Alan purchased the pad in 1990 and deeded it over to his son, it seems like Robin is hanging on to that pad for now...

Newlyweds Robert F. Kennedy and Cheryl Hines have just purchased a $5 million mansion in the Point Dume area of Malibu. The four bedroom, three bathroom home was purchased for $4,995,000.
The light and airy 2,959 square feet main one-story house has rustic beams and wooden floors.
The kitchen features exposed brick and white tile, an island counter, ceramic tile counter tops and ceiling beams.
The bedrooms have French-style windows, vaulted ceilings and pale wooden floors.
The Malibu pad was formerly owned by Emmy-winning composer David Kurtz, and his influence can be felt in the fully wood-paneled Great Room containing a grand piano as well as in the two-room recording studio.
There's also a vast lounge area with French doors and high ceilings.
The property has three separate buildings -- one building has a guest cottage with private bathroom and fireplace. Another houses the recording studio and a den. A two-story tree house is perfect for children.
There is also a fourth building, which has a fully paneled pool house, including a kitchen and sleeping loft.

Jakey G is ready to get rid of his L.A. bachelor pad!
Jake Gyllenhaal just listed his Hollywood Hills home for $3.5 million, and by "just listed" we literally mean in the last 24 hours! The actor purchased the place back in 2005 under a trust for $2.5 million, so he stands to make a million bucks on the sale!
The abode is described as a "gated celebrity compound on almost 2 acres down a long private drive" in a "private setting on a lushly planted estate-size lot with trails and a large grassy yard." The 2,826 square-foot house boasts 3 bedrooms, a fancy living room with beamed ceilings and breathtaking views, and a gourmet kitchen.
The Brokeback Mountain star was spotted checking out NYC penthouses last May, so something tells us he's readying to make a permanent move to the Big Apple!
