J.Lo Buys $28 Million Bel Air Compound

Jenny's got a new block!

Jennifer Lopez just plunked down a whopping $28 million for this Bel Air mansion, TMZ reports. The singer purchased the eight acre estate from actress Sela Ward, who was initially asking $39.9 million.

The 13,000 square-foot main house, built in 1940 and designed by Samuel Marx, has been extensively renovated and blends its French country-style with a bit of asian and modern influences. Kinda weird but ok!

There is a koi pond, manmade swimming lake, BBQ area, mini golf course, and a mini amphitheater carved into the lawn.

J.Lo has yet to find a buyer for her more modest $12.5 million Hidden Hills home, but something tells us she's not hurting for the cash!

Tom Cruise Sells Beverly Hills Mansion For $40 Million

This was the last thing tying him to LA!

Tom Cruise just sold his Beverly Hills mega mansion for $40 million, which is $5 million less than the original asking price, TMZ reports. The proud new owner is private equity firm billionaire Leon Black. The action star purchased the place back in 2007 with then-wife Katie Holmes for $32.5 million.

The 10,000 square-foot pad, built in 1937, sits on 1.21 acres and boasts 7 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms. There is also "a swimming-pool-sized fountain, a lighted tennis court with basketball hoops, a lap-length swimming pool, a children's playground, and a couple of guesthouses," according to public data.

So where is Teeny Tiny Tom headed?

Reports claim the action star is sick of Tinseltown and planning to move to Florida to be closer to the Scientology headquarters in the city of Clearwater. "Tom hates living in LA and is relocating to Florida. He thinks all the people in Hollywood are fake," a source dished to Us Weekly.

There are also rumors that he's done with the US entirely and plans to move into the Scientology compound in London. His real estate transactions in the last year would indicate he plans on moving overseas, as he's sold his places in Manhattan, Telluride, and L.A's Laurel Canyon.

We hope he says bye to Suri!
