Mischa Barton Puts Her Beverly Hills Home On The Rental Market For $35,000 A Month

After a failed attempt to sell her Beverly Hills mansion, Mischa Barton has put the massive pad up for rent for $35,000 a month.

The villa-style residence sits on a 1.2 acre lot and though some websites say the home has 7,600 square feet of living space, others estimate it to be closer to 9,800 square feet. There are eight bedrooms and ten bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen with a dine-in breakfast bar, a spa and a pool and not one but THREE separate guest houses.

Mischa purchased the home in August of 2005 for $6.4 million. The former OC starlet listed it in 2010 for $8.7 million, but after a price cut and limited interest, she took it off the market and put it up for rent for $30,000 a month. Think she'll find some new tenants at this higher rate? Or should she just cut her losses and list it somewhere in the high 6 range again?
