Michael Strahan In Negotiations To Buy This Stunning $17 Million Mansion

Michael Strahan and fiancee Nicole Mitchell Murphy (yup, she's Eddie's ex-wife) are reportedly looking to move back into the Brentwood neighborhood, as RealEstalker reports that the duo are in negotiations to buy this stunning $17 million mansion.

Up until recently the couple were leasing a villa in the exclusive Beverly Park neighborhood, but prior to that they were all over the place with their real estate purchases. Murphy sold her 9,200-square-foot Spanish-style mansion in the Oaks community in Calabasas for $5.5 million in 2011, which was $2 million less than she paid for the place in 2006. Then after the two got engaged in 2009, Strahan bought a 10,000-square-foot pad in Brentwood for $5 million, but they sold that place in 2012 for $6.1 million. The couple did the same thing in Bel Air when they dropped $7.9 million on a pad, flipped it, and sold it for $11 million less than a year later. Though they're still looking for a residence in New York City (remember, Strahan tapes Live! With Kelly and Michael out there), it does look like this monstrous mansion is going to be their primary west coast home. Seeing as Strahan and Murphy have a combined total of nine children, we're thinking they're going to hang on to it for more than just a few years...

The 15,600-square-foot home has 9 bedrooms and 14 bathrooms, though three of them are half baths, and it sits on a nearly an acre of land. The home is listed at $17 million, but RealEstalker reports that the former NFL standout is looking to pay $16 mil.

The foyer has 20-foot ceilings, French doors and it opens to a formal living room, and the hallways lead to a formal dining room, a sitting room, two powder rooms, two en-suite bedrooms, a butler’s pantry and a chef’s kitchen with additional dining and living areas.

On the lower level of the home there are two more bedrooms plus a state-of-the-art home theater with a 15-foot screen and leather seating for 20 people. There's also a game room with a billiards table, a home gym complete with an attached bathroom and a massage table, a walk-in safe/bank vault, a cedar storage closet and a wine cellar which apparently has special glass that doubles as an additional flatscreen TV. As if that wasn't fancy enough, there's another room that is outfitted with a unique air filtration system for cigar smoke.

A private elevator connects the three levels, and on the top floor the master suite has one wing all to itself. There are four other bedrooms on the top floor, and all of them have their own bathrooms. Outside there is a 59-foot swimming pool, a wet bar, a BBQ and entertaining pavilion with a fireplace ... check out the photos in the gallery below!
