Larry Ellison Buys Malibu Home From Yahoo! CEO Terry Semel For $36 Million

Larry Ellison just snatched up a massive Malibu beachfront home sold by Yahoo! CEO Terry Semel for a whopping $36 million! The property was originally listed for $50 million, so he got quite the discount - if you can call it that - on his new abode!

Designed by Michael Graves, the 10,000 square-foot pad is described as a "jewel on Carbon Beach," and boasts three pavilions, enormous windows and skylights, ocean views, nine bedrooms, thirteen bathrooms, and a two story guesthouse.

This section of beach is known as "Billionaire's Row," and it's easy to see why! If he tires of the California coastline, Mr. Ellison can retreat to the tiny island of Lanai, which he partially purchased to the tune of $500 million.

Seems like it certainly pays to be an Internet genius!
