He passed away in July at the age of 95, and now Ernest Borgnine's Beverly Hills estate has been placed on the market for $3.4 million.

The former residence of the beloved Hollywood actor was designed by architect LG Scherer and is located on a half-acre lot above Mulholland Drive. The English country-style house boasts 6 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, hardwood floors, French doors, beamed ceilings, a wood-burning fireplace, heated pool, and a guest house complete with a kitchen and living room.

"It was his place of comfort and seclusion, where lots of people came to visit him. [It was] a who's who of Hollywood that came," agent Billy Rose said of the place that Borgnine called home for over six decades.

The property is a "pocket listing," which means that Rose has a listing agreement with the seller, but the pad will not be entered into a multi-listing system unless they encounter a lack of interest. The seller is the Oscar winner's fifth wife Tova Traesnaes.

For a place that offers views of the whole San Fernando Valley and has Hollywood history, we'd say this is a steal!
