SF Giants Pitcher Barry Zito Selling His Bay Area Mansion For $11.4 Million
November 2, 2012 10:00 AM

Fresh off winning the World Series, San Francisco Giants pitcher Barry Zito is hoping to win big in the real estate market, as he just listed his Bay Area mansion for a whopping $11.4 million!
The Mediterranean-style home is located in Kentfield, California. His reason for the move? "Barry loves Marin and the house; he was married there... but with the drive over the bridge all the way across town to the ballpark, it was just too much, especially with a new marriage," his publicist told The Huffington Post.
Known as "Villa Della Pace," the house sits on over two acres and overlooks the gorgeous Phoenix Lake. The grounds feature stunning views, an outdoor fireplace, barbeque, fountain, spa, and infinity pool. The glass walls of the home open to allow for an indoor-meets-outdoor vibe.
The property boasts 4 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, a gourmet kitchen, granite countertops, and a huge master suite that overlooks the lush landscape.
For a guy that signed a $126 million dollar contract, it's pretty clear he isn't selling for financial reasons!
